Marsha became a clinical psychotherapist because she is passionate about helping people become empowered to live happier and healthier lives. With over a decade of experience, she has worked extensively with patients and clients at inpatient and outpatient settings. Marsha has also worked extensively with families and friends who have lost a loved one to suicide.
Marsha specializes in individuals experiencing anxiety, loss or trauma. She also specializes with couples experiencing communication and/or intimacy issues in their marriage or partnership. She will work with families on a case-by-case basis and facilitates group therapy.
Marsha has been specially trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT, MBSR and other therapeutic modalities. She often uses a combination approach of many therapeutic modalities customized specifically for her client’s needs.
Marsha graduated summa cum laude with an MSW (Master of Social Work) with therapy concentration degree from The University of Texas at Arlington and a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) degree from The University of North Texas.
